The fee to submit your Clarity application is $60 per household. It is a flat fee, meaning that it does not change whether you apply for one or multiple children, and to one or multiple schools. Separate households will each need to pay the $60 application fee.
How do I get a fee waiver for my application?
Our system automatically qualifies families for fee waivers based on meeting certain income and asset based criteria. If you qualify for an automatic fee waiver, you will be able to submit your application without being prompted to pay. If not, you will need to contact the school directly and request a waiver, which they may provide at their discretion. Please note that not every school provides fee waivers, so be sure to check your school's policies before reaching out.
What happens if I add a school/student and resubmit?
If you go back to add a school/student to your application and resubmit, you will not be charged the $60 application fee again, as this is a one-time fee, and once it is captured, it is not required to pay again.
What is the refund policy?
Per the policy, once the $60 fee is captured, the fee is non-refundable. The only exception to this would be if there is a duplicate account, OR if the school that you are applying to reaches out to us directly to confirm a refund. If there are any questions about the policy or requesting a refund, please feel free to reach out to the Family Support team.
