How to Sign Your Enrollment Contract

Written by Justin

Your enrollment contract signing process depends on whether your household has one or two guardians. Follow the steps below based on your household type.

Households with 1 Guardian

If you are the only guardian signing the contract, the process is quick and straightforward:

  1. Check your email for a message with the subject line:
"[School Name] invites you to sign."

    • Important: This email should not be forwarded or shared.

  2. Click the purple "Start enrollment as [Your Name]" button at the bottom of the email.

  3. Click "Sign in or Sign up" under Step 1, then log in or create a Clarity account.

  4. Click "Claim contract as [Your Name]" to begin signing.

  5. Click "Review and Sign" to open the contract.

  6. Consent to e-signing when prompted. Click Confirm & Continue.

  7. The contract will open. Complete the following:

    • Select your payment plan.

    • Review any additional fees from the school.

    • Sign the contract when ready.

  8. Click the purple "Pay" button to complete your deposit payment.

Done! You’ve successfully signed and paid for your enrollment contract.

Important: Some schools require tuition insurance. If you cannot remove this option, it is required by the school.

Households with 2 Guardians

For households with two guardians, a primary guardian is designated by the school and generally goes first in the signing process, but this designation isn't locked in until choices have actually been made on the contract.

Both guardians will receive an email from Clarity letting them know there is a contract ready to sign.

Important Note for 2 Guardian Households:

If both parents are signing on the same device, the primary guardian must log out completely before the secondary guardian begins. Alternatively, use an incognito window to prevent system errors.

Primary Guardian

  1. Check your email for a message with the subject line: "[School Name] invites you to sign."

    • Important: These emails cannot be forwarded between parents. Each email is exclusive to the recipient.

  2. Click the purple "Start enrollment as [Your Name]" button at the bottom of the email.

  3. Click "Sign in or Sign up" under Step 1, then log in or create a Clarity account.

  4. Click "Claim contract as [Your Name]" to begin signing. Need the other guardian to be primary instead? As long as no selections have been made on the contract yet, have the other guardian check their email and begin the signing process themselves. They'll automatically be registered as primary.

  5. Click "Review and Sign" to open the contract.

  6. Consent to e-signing when prompted. Click Confirm & Continue.

  7. The contract will open. Complete the following:
    Select your payment plan.
Review any additional fees from the school.
    Sign the contract when ready.

  8. Once signed, the secondary guardian will receive an email prompting them to sign.

  9. You can proceed to pay the deposit OR allow the secondary guardian to make payment after they have signed.

Secondary Guardian

  1. Wait until the primary guardian has signed. If you sign before the other guardian has completed their portion, this will make you the primary for the contract.

  2. Check your email for your invitation to sign. Click the purple "Start enrollment as [Your Name]" button.

  3. Click "Sign in or Sign up" under Step 1, then log in to your Clarity account.

  4. Click "Review and Sign" to open the contract.

  5. Consent to e-signing when prompted. Click Confirm & Continue.

  6. Review the contract and complete your portion of the signing process.

  7. If the primary guardian did not pay the deposit, click the purple "Pay" button to complete the payment.

Done! Both guardians have signed, and the contract is complete. Once both signatures are in, primary vs. secondary status matters less in practice. Both guardians receive contract and invoice emails and can set up autopay or make payments.

What if the signing deadline passes?
Contact your school immediately to request a deadline extension; they will need to extend the contract.

Note: If you need to make any changes to your enrollment contract, please contact your school directly. They will assist you with any updates or adjustments to the contract.
