Autopay Schedule Change (Effective September 8, 2026)

Written by Justin

You may have received an email from Clarity letting you know about an upcoming change to the autopay schedule. Here's a full breakdown of what's changing, when it takes effect, and answers to common questions.

What's Changing

  • Currently, autopay runs 4 days before the invoice due date.

  • Starting September 8th, 2026, autopay will run on the due date itself instead.

When Does This Take Effect?

  • Any invoice due before September 8th, 2026 still follows the current schedule (4 days before the due date).

  • Any invoice due on or after September 8th, 2026 will automatically follow the new schedule (on the due date).

  • No action is needed, it applies automatically based on your invoice due dates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I get this email if I don't have autopay set up?
This went out to everyone who's ever had a Clarity contract on file, whether or not you're currently enrolled in autopay. If you're not on autopay, there's nothing you need to do and you can disregard the message.

Do I have to enroll in autopay now?
No. This only changes the timing for accounts already enrolled in autopay. It doesn't require anyone to sign up.

What's actually changing, and when?
Right now autopay runs 4 days before the invoice due date. Starting September 8th, it'll run on the due date itself instead. Anything due before September 8th still follows the old schedule.

Will this affect a payment I already have scheduled?
Only if your due date falls on or after September 8th.

How do I turn autopay on or off?
Go to Settings under the Payments tab in your household dashboard. You can enroll or unenroll anytime.
