Can I add/remove a school in my application?

Yes! You will be able to add another school or student, or edit information on your application further after initial submission as long as the school's deadline has not passed.

To add a school:

  1. Log in to Clarity: Begin by logging into your Clarity account.

  2. Start the Application Process: On your main home page, click the purple "Edit Application" or "Continue Application" button.

  3. Navigate to Step 1 - Student Applicants: Return to the first step in your application by selecting "Step 1: Student Applicants."

  4. Go to the Select Schools Section: Locate and access the "Select Schools" section on this page.

  5. Add a School: Click on the "Add a School" button and follow the on-screen prompts to add details for the new school.

  6. Save Your Changes: After entering the school’s information, choose "Save and Continue."

  7. Submit Your Application Again: Navigate to Step 4 of your application to re-submit and ensure the newly added school receives your updated application. If you already paid a fee in a prior submission, no additional fee will be required.

Important: If you have already submitted your application and need to remove a school from your list, you cannot do this on your own. You will need to contact support directly to request that the school be removed. Please have your application details ready when reaching out so we can assist you as efficiently as possible.

Resolving Duplicate Student Applicant Errors

Sometimes, while adding a student applicant or dependent, you may encounter an error stating that a record already exists. Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Verify Student/Dependent Status: Check whether the child is currently listed as a student applicant or under the "other dependent" category. Each child should only be listed in one category.

  2. Adjust the Records: Remove the child from the incorrect category. For example, if they are listed as a dependent but should be an applicant, adjust accordingly.

  3. Reattempt Adding the Student: Add the child as a student applicant if needed, ensuring no duplicates exist in other categories.

  4. Contact Support if Needed: If you're unable to resolve the issue on your own, reach out to support for further assistance.
